Grossman at forefront of Spinner craze

Grossmans 2As the Spinner craze continues to explode, with retailers and suppliers comparing the category’s exceptional performance to the dizzy heights of the loom band craze two years ago, suppliers are working round the clock to react to sky-high demand levels.

Grossman has been one of the key companies driving the craze, and Martin Grossman, who is currently in Hong Kong working on new Spinner products, told Toy World: “ We’ve put in a huge amount of work to ensure we deliver a high quality range of spinners. We realised straight away that it was imperative to develop the best possible product at a competitive price. There are so many products being offered for sale that do not have the appropriate safety certificates and are not CE marked. We recognised the importance of checking the factory’s manufacturing facility out, checking the bearing supplier out and ensuring the product meets stringent speed and spin standards, as well as complying with all the appropriate safety regulations. Our spinners spin for between 2-5 minutes. I feel like I’ve got an ‘ology’ in bearings now!”
