Hama Beads app receives rave review

Published on: 17th February 2016

Hama Universe has received a positive review from The Good App Guide.

hama480Farel Williams, marketing executive at DKL, said: “It’s great to have The Good App Guide’s seal of approval for the Hama app. The review highlights how the app promotes creative and developmental play in the same way as the traditional Hama bead sets.”

The experts at the Good App Guide said: “The app was a real hit with all of our testers and they all wanted to return to it after their first play.”

The review includes feedback from the children who took part in testing Hama Universe, whilst also listing eight different skills which are developed through playing on the app.

The recently launched app is the first of its kind for Hama.

The digital version of the traditional bead craft activity is a virtual universe in which a child can choose from a selection of pegboards and bead colours to create virtual bead designs. The digital app helps to challenge fine motor skills and memory whilst also supporting creativity.
