Hamleys becomes giant playground for February half term

From 16th February – 3rd March, Hamleys’ flagship Regent Street store will be transformed for the whole family to enjoy.

Celebrating some of this year’s biggest movie releases, kids can meet Emmett, Wildstyle and General Mayhem from The Lego Movie 2, and join in with the Hamleys’ Lego Building Workshops, where toy prizes will be awarded to the best builders. Kids can also dress up as a Viking and have their picture taken with Astrid and Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.

Other activities will include Scalextric time-trial racing with the Hamleys Race Team, the chance for kids to take part in Quidditch Training and a Sorting Hat ceremony, plus the chance for kids to challenge Hamleys’ Board Game Expert.

Live entertainment will include puppet shows, Story Time sessions, and Lego Brick and Fortnite dance sessions. A daily parade through the store will take place at 4pm, featuring some of Hamleys’ best-loved characters, while one lucky family will have the honour of ringing the world-famous Hamleys bell during the Grand Opening Ceremony each morning.

There will also be an array of further competitions and prize giveaways taking place in store over the two weeks.
