Hasbro appoints Matthew Austin

Matthew Austin joins Hasbro as president and general manager, he will lead Hasbro SA’s services and distribution across Europe.

Hasbro has announced that Matthew Austin has joined the company as president and general manager, European sales and marketing to lead Hasbro SA’s services and distribution network across Europe. Matthew will report to chief commercial officer, Wiebe Tinga.

“We are thrilled to have Matt join our team as we continue to execute our strategy and unlock the power of our brands across Europe,” said Wiebe. “Matt’s leadership and in-depth knowledge of the market will help our teams navigate the ever-changing shifts in retail and consumer behaviour across the region.”

Matthew joins Hasbro from Lindt & Sprungli where he was the CEO for the UK and Ireland. Prior to Lindt, he worked for Mars as general manager for European confections and general manager for Mars Food in Germany.
