Hasbro celebrates International Tiger Day with new release

Published on: 31st July 2017

Launch of Roarin’ Tyler, the Playful Tiger, coincided with annual tiger conservation awareness day.

International Tiger Day, which took place on Saturday 29th July, is an annual celebration designed to raise awareness of tiger conservation and the importance of protecting their natural habitats. The tiger is the largest of the world’s big cats, but 97% of all wild tigers have disappeared in the last century, and there are now only around 3,000 left.

Children can now take home their own interactive baby tiger, which responds to touch and sound with lifelike movements.

Roarin’ Tyler features over 100 sound-and-motion combinations and articulation to move his eyes, ears, head, mouth, and tail. He comes with a bright yellow squeaky chicken, which he recognises and responds to.

Children can have fun as they roar at Tyler, and then watch as he leans down, poses, and lets out a powerful roar of his own. The louder little ones roar, the louder Tyler does too.
