Hasbro Gaming will celebrate its adult gaming launch with a total takeover of Board Game Club on 17th November.

Board-Game-Club-480Grown-up games fans, press and influencers are invited to the underground games night in London’s West End to savour the brand’s after dark delights, including the UK debut of Midnight Taboo.

Midnight Taboo is the new adult-rated edition of the popular game of forbidden words. Players will embark in a tenacious game against the clock to decipher descriptions and clues from the team.

Also featuring on the exclusive Hasbro Gaming menu is Cranium Dark, where players guess the card based on the thespian prowess of their team mate. Viral sensation Speak Out will provide some silly slapstick fun too, alongside the new Pie Face Showdown.

Craig Wilkins, marketing director, Hasbro UK and Ireland, commented: “We’ve seen the popularity of games for grown-ups skyrocket in recent years, and Board Game Club is a perfect example of this trend – a collective of cool, grown-up games fans coming together for both silly and serious sociable play. It’s the perfect event to launch our new collection of adult games, and we’re confident the crowd will enjoy our after dark menu.”

Board Game Club co-founder, Playtime PR’s Lesley Singleton, added: “The Hasbro Gaming takeover is really exciting for us – not only are we welcoming the category leader to our grown-up games night for the first time, but we’re also seeing them actively embrace the adult trend that’s been so popular with our members since the Club’s inception almost three years ago.”
