In a court filing on Monday, Hasbro asked a federal judge to dismiss Harris Faulkner’s $5 million lawsuit.

Hasbronewsanchor-480The Fox news anchor claims that Hasbro used her name and appearance for a toy hamster in the Littlest Pet Shop line.

In its motion to dismiss, Hasbro says that, except for the name, the two share no similarities: “Ms Faulkner is an adult, African-American, human, female newscaster; the hamster toy is an inch-tall, cartoon-like plastic animal, which has no apparent gender or profession, or even clothing, that might identify its gender or profession.”
