Hasbro to launch Mr Avocado Head

Published on: 1st April 2019

Mr Potato Head is set to be replaced with a low-carb, Instagrammable rival, Mr Avocado Head.

Studies show that carb-rich potatoes are no longer appealing, unlike the avocado. Due to popular demand from millennials, the new vegan-friendly character Mr Avocado Head has made his debut at some of London’s hottest brunch spots today.

As veganism goes viral as part of a healthier lifestyle, the avocado has become one of the most highly sought-after fruits in the world, with over 650m kilos worth sold across the UK and Europe. As more millennials are set to ditch the carbs, the much-loved Mr Potato Head will be retired from Hasbro’s portfolio for now.

True to character, the healthy, hipster Mr Avo Head will sport a man bun and well-groomed beard, trendy sneakers, skinny jeans and will be listening to the latest beats on his oversized headphones. All accessories are removable and interchangeable.

Mr Avo Head is suitable for millennials of all ages and will be launched at a later date.
