Hasbro’s Nerf announces partnership with Weetabix

Published on: 28th September 2017

The companies will launch Nerf Nitro co-branded Weetos packs until mid-December.

Nerf Nitro, this year’s highly anticipated new launch from Nerf, allows children to design electrifying action scenes and experience the thrill of high speed, freestyle car jumps, and trackless stunt possibilities. Each Nerf Nitro blaster fires foam cars at a fast velocity, catapulting the vehicles high into the air letting children set up all kinds of car-blasting stunts and challenges.

The Nerf Nitro co-branded Weetos packs, come with a free cut out stunt ramp for children to enjoy. These packs give children the opportunity to create great visual play experiences from their everyday breakfast cereal. The co-branded packs will be available at retailers including Tesco, Asda, Waitrose, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, The Co-Operative, and other independent retailers.

Craig Wilkins, marketing director Hasbro UK & Ireland, commented: “We are delighted to partner with such an iconic brand like Weetabix Weetos to unleash stunt car action at breakfast time. Our newly launched Nerf Nitro car blaster range is proving hugely popular, and we can’t wait for children to wake up and start having fun while eating a cereal that will keep them energised throughout the day.”

Helena Blincow, marketing manager at Weetabix, commented: “We’re extremely excited to partner with Hasbro’s Nerf Nitro on our new co-branded Weetos packs. We’re always looking at new ways to provide added value so our customers can make the most of their packs at breakfast, and the Nerf Nitro partnership will provide an engaging offering that will appeal to our Weetos’ audience.”
