The Henri Le Worm cookery app for kids, The Missing Cookbook, represented globally by newly-formed Rizon Studios, launched at Raymond Blanc’s restaurant, Brasserie Blanc, in Covent Garden.henrileworm300

Industry professionals, journalists, bloggers and their children joined Simon Pegg, the voice of Henri Le Worm and his friends, for breakfast with an exclusive cooking demonstration by Raymond Blanc, children’s entertainers and goody bags.

The app, now available on iTunes for iPad and iPad mini, is an educational cookery app developed to connect children with food and nature in a positive way, featuring specially-created recipes by Raymond Blanc, interactive games, facts and music.

Created by Raymond Blanc’s son Oliver Blanc and actress Charlotte Salt, the interactive app, already popular in the UK and USA, encourages children, aged from two years, and their parents to discover more about food, nature and healthy and seasonal ingredients.

Natasha Dyson, VP licensing at Rizon Studios, said: “The app launch couldn’t have gone better. Children were captivated by the content within the app and thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on cooking demonstration from Raymond Blanc. We’re delighted to be working with Oli and Charlotte on the licensing of Henri Le Worm. Seeing the excitement today at the event, we’re positive Henri Le Worm will be a huge success.”

The app features magical stories, garden characters and songs as well as over 100 educational food facts, over 30 insect and bug facts and 10 easy recipes.
