A Hobbycraft spokesperson told Toy World: “To support our next phase of transformation we are continuing to invest and improve our business across a number of areas. On people, we have recently appointed Archie Norman as chairman and Lawrence Christensen as non-executive director; both have already made a positive and significant contribution.

“James Heese, our trading director, who has been a key member in the first phase of our change programme, has now left Hobbycraft. We will be looking for a new trading director to embark on the next phase of our transformation, which will deliver a market leading supply chain and support a stronger and faster changing product offer.”
