Hornby announces new finance director

Hornby has announced the appointment of Nick Stone as its new finance director.

Nick Stone, formerly financial director at software and consultancy group KBC Advanced technologies, will replace Andrew Morris.

Hornby’s chief executive Frank Martin welcomed Stone’s appointment, and commented that “Nick has the skills and fresh perspective to add significant value”.

Morris, Hornby’s finance director for 11 years, announced his departure in November and will be chief executive at privately owned pharmaceutical business Medreich.
