Hy-Pro International appoints micommsPR

Hy-Pro International, the sporting goods business behind Zinc scooters, bikes and skateboards, has appointed micommsPR to roll out a comprehensive trade and consumer PR programme, to support its growth strategy and raise awareness of its business and brands.

In addition to Zinc, Hy-Pro has produced licences for high profile football clubs and brands in Europe, including Manchester United, Chelsea and The Champions League. The company recently brought high-profile investor Nigel Wray onto its board in order to drive business expansion forward.

micommsPR will implement a trade and consumer PR programme, increasing Hy-Pro’s industry profile and raising awareness of its products and the Zinc brand across all categories with its core target audiences of 2-5, 6-8 and 8+ year olds. The programme will include securing celebrity endorsement and working alongside Hy-Pro International’s Pro-Team Rider, Jack Bryan, to secure media opportunities.

In the coming months, media will be invited, to an exclusive Zinc Team Extreme event where Hy-Pro’s pro-stunt group will showcase stunt action on the Zinc Pro scooter range.

Hy-Pro will also participate in the miChristmas Open House 2013 on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July, in central London.
