I’m A Girly dolls enjoy celebrity endorsement

Published on: 11th February 2021

Madonna’s daughters join celebrity kids, such as Harper Beckham, the Federer twins and Fifi Ecclestone, who all love the I’m A Girly brand.

Madonna has posted pictures on her Instagram account of her 8-year-old twins, Stella and Estere, playing with fashion dolls from I’m A Girly. As an advocate for diversity and self-expression, the pop icon has provided her children with toys that share those values. I’m A Girly products are co-created by boys and girls, have natural proportions, interchangeable wigs, colour-changing hair and lots of accessories, so that every child can find their perfect companion.

Reaching their mother’s 15.7m followers, Stella and Estere join many other celebrity kids such as Harper Beckham (9), the daughter of Victoria and David Beckham; the Federer twins (11) and Tamara Ecclestone’s daughter Fifi (6).

Under the direction of female entrepreneur, Theresia Le Battistini, I’m A Girly continues to expand worldwide. As a mother herself, Theresia wanted to develop a line of fashionable dolls that encourages inclusion as well as creative play. She commented: “I wanted to create products that everyone can relate to. That is why it was so important to put the kids at the core of our design process.”

With sustainability close to its heart, I’m A Girly strives to reduce waste, produce with recycled materials wherever possible, and bring the topic of sustainability closer to children. The company has just revealed a collaboration with the upcycling fashion brand The R Collective. Together they will create the very first-of-its-kind sustainable doll clothing collection, made of fabric excess from luxury fashion brands.

“We are excited about the collaboration with I’m A Girly,” explained Christina Dean, founder and CEO of The R Collective. “Especially because here we bring two worlds together and translate our mission – to create a more sustainable world – in a creative and collaborative way, whilst also inspiring the next generation of young fashion consumers,”

“This collaboration is an exciting step in the right direction for all of us and shows that fashion and toys go hand in hand,” added Theresiai Le Battistini.
