In Kind Direct calls on toy retailers and suppliers

Published on: 4th August 2015

In Kind Direct has launched a product donation appeal to toys manufacturers and retailers in the UK.

In Kind DirectFounded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1996, In Kind Direct redistributes new surplus product from manufacturers and retailers to UK charities through an online catalogue.

Hundreds of charities In Kind Direct works with across the country, from youth centres to family welfare organisations, need new toys in order to run their children’s activities as well as to sustain and develop their operations.

For suppliers and retailers with surplus to donate, the organisation provides a unique point of contact and a tested logistics infrastructure getting goods to the charities that need them most.

In Kind Direct is urging toy companies to donate games and puzzles, educational toys, gadgets, outdoor and indoor toys, activity books, musical instruments and fancy dress costumes. There is also a demand for arts and crafts products as well as nursery items.
