Independent Toy & Gift Show hailed a success

Published on: 10th May 2018

The plaY-room team has thanked suppliers and visitors following a busy 2018 show.

L-R: Miles Penhallow, Peter Lockey, Sue Lockey, and David Fynn.

This year the show’s theme was plush, and visitors to the two-day event were greeted by an array of themed displays from key soft toy suppliers including Keycraft (farm plush) and Posh Paws (dinosaur plush).

The Best Stand Award, which was judged by David Fynn (John Sanders/Toys UK), was awarded to The Puppet Company, which created an earthy display of it’s new Wilberry plush range.

In recognition of the 10th anniversary of plaY-room, cake was provided during the day and visitors left with a goody bag on their departure.

Miles Penhallow, head of Toys & Children’s Gifts at plaY-room, commented: “The plaY-room team would like to extend our thanks to all of our retail visitors who helped make this year’s show the best supported ever. We have received some encouraging comments from both buyers and exhibitors new and old. We look forward to opening the doors of Cranmore Park to both exhibitors and visitors in 2019.”
