Inspiration Works launched its new children’s tablet – Kurio on the first day of Toy Fair.
The tablet has been designed to mirror real computers and current adult tablets and comes with advanced parental controls and customisable internet content filtering.
Aimed to suit the whole family, the product is available in three models; 7inch, 8inch and 9.7 inch, priced at £149.99, £179.99 and £199.99 respectively. The models all feature a multi-touch screen and built in apps.
Tracey Devine Inspiration Works’ UK marketing manager comments: “As experts in the development of electronic learning products, we recognised a gap in the market for a competitively priced children’s tablet that looks and behaves like a tablet for adults. We are confident that whilst the Kurio meets key parental requirements for safety and security, it is also appealing to children as the most sophisticated tablet offering in the category.”
Available from July, Kurio comes with a safe sound level and a time control facility so parents can protect their child’s hearing and control usage.
