Debbie Sterling will visit the UK this week where she will host a media interview day and attend a London store event all in support of the new brand distributed in the UK by Interplay.
At the centre of the activity will be a meet the media event hosted in London, where Debbie will speak with journalists about the inspiration behind the GoldieBlox collection. As an engineer from Stanford University in the US, Debbie believes that the choice of toys offered to children from an early age can go on to shape their own future interests in areas such as engineering. Debbie’s ideas have led to the creation of GoldieBlox, a combination of a story book adventure and a construction kit.
In addition to the media interviews, Debbie will be visiting the flagship John Lewis Store in Oxford Street on Saturday 27th Sept at 1pm to be available on the hotspot to promote the GoldieBlox brand. Debbie will be hands on with children and parents, demonstrating the product to passing customers and talking about the inspiration behind its development.
Debbie will also be guest speaker at the Al Qasimi Lecture Theatre in Prince Phillip House, London where the Institute of Engineering and technology (IET) will be hosting a lecture entitled: “Inspiring the Next Generation”.
