James Dixon appointed commercial director at Funrise

James will accelerate company’s growth in the UK and Ireland market.

James DixonFunrise International Limited has announced the appointment of James Dixon as commercial director, leading all sales and distribution efforts of Funrise brands in the UK and Ireland. James joins Funrise with more than 25 years experience managing sales and increasing revenue at companies including THQ and Acclaim Entertainment. James has a background in both the entertainment and toy industries, having worked with many of the world’s most iconic brands.

James commented: “I’m extremely excited to join such a fast growing global toy company with a strong portfolio of evergreen brands, especially as Funrise is rapidly expanding its repertoire of toy properties to the entertainment arena.”

James will be based out of Funrise’s UK office and will oversee the sales and accounts team, with a strong focus on expanding the company’s presence in the UK and Ireland.
