There will be new additions to the original 3D Sandbox Game.

jazwares480Jazwares has announced that it is expanding its toy line based on the digital world of Minecraft.

Launched in 2009, Minecraft is a sandbox video game where users can build and go on adventures in a 3D block world. The game, distributed in the UK by Character Options, received immediate praise. To date, it has sold over 106 million copies.

“At Jazwares, we believe it is important to bring imaginative play out of the digital world and into the physical hands of children”, said Laura Zebersky, Jazwares EVP and chief commercial officer. “The Minecraft community will be over the moon by this extended line as we bring more aspects of the favourite digital game to life”.

Jazwares has introduced six new three-inch figures and three new multi figure accessory packs. The new three-inch action figures include Charged Creeper Pack, Zombie Pigman Pack, Alex with Diamond Armor Pack, Snow Golem Pack, Steve with Minecart Pack and the Witch Pack (available in limited quantities). The new multi figure and accessory packs include Alex with Skeleton Horse Pack and Alex Survival Pack.
