Jazwares’ growth brings new UK sales director

Following the recent announcement of an investment by Allegheny Capital Corporation, the addition of Sugrue marks the company’s continued global growth and expansion of its UK operation.

Jonny Taylor, Jazwares UK managing director, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Dan to the team. Dan’s experience and outlook align with our goal of building a first class sales force.”

Dan added: “I look forward to building a dynamic sales team, fuelling growth and matching Jazwares strength in the global marketplace.”

Most recently, Dan served as business manager for Flair Leisure Products. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent more than 15 years in product sales at such FMCG companies as Phillip Morris International and Henri Winterman.

Opened in December of 2012, Jazwares’ UK office has been growing exponentially, powered by such brands as Minecraft, One Direction, Star Wars and Adventure Time. This year brings new brands such as Chuck & Friends, Ella the Elephant, and a quickly growing platform in Blueprints Paper Craft sets.
