The companies have agreed a new three year contract extension following a successful partnership which has seen unit sales exceed one million.

jcb480IglooBooks, part of the Bonnier Group, is the fourth largest publisher in the UK which created over 500 books during 2015, with over 3,000 editions in 37 different languages.

The continuation of the JCB licence will see 11 new launches by Igloo in 2016 including activity, touch and feel, sound book and picture flats products all built around the My First JCB machines which provide plenty of digger fun.

“Publishing is a critical component of any successful franchise,” said Sam Johnson, general manager of JCB Consumer Products. “To bring our content to such an important global market will expand the worlds of our most beloved characters to an even greater audience. We are thrilled to have IglooBooks on board for another three years.”

Mary Hill, head of brand licensing of IglooBooks, added: “Over one million books were sold in the first three years of our global deal with JCB so we were confident in our investment to carry this relationship forward. The brand fits so well within our portfolio and complements the full range perfectly and we are excited for the future.”
