Opportunity

Bladez Toyz is currently looking for an experienced Key/National Account Manager looking to take the next step in their career. The role will involve working directly with the CEO to create and implement sales plans for existing Bladez Toyz customers, while also looking for new business opportunities that will aid business growth.

Salary: Competitive based on experience, plus bonus options

Location: Portsmouth, UK – Ideally office based but will consider remote working for right candidate

Candidate Profile

  • You must have previous experience within a key account sales role
  • You will be working as part of a small team so being hands-on is very important
  • You’ll possess excellent teamwork, organisation, and process management skills
  • Have the ability to quickly assimilate information and be quick-thinking
  • You’ll have forward planning experience and the ability to prioritise
  • Be flexible, adaptable and efficient
  • Be a good problem solver
  • You’ll enjoy thinking outside the box and/or being a creative thinker

Main duties will include:

  • Managing, servicing and developing Key/National Accounts
  • Business development activities (new accounts) where applicable based on yearly objectives
  • Building effective working relationships with key retailers and decision makers and having regular meetings in place to maximise sales
  • Maximising customer service and satisfaction
  • Managing budget and effectively forecasting by account
  • Undertaking range planning with accounts using account plan templates on current ranges, also including forward planning with the introduction of new ranges at key selling periods
  • Raising customer quotations and work pricing through either landing FOB costs to realise customer margin or domestic costs for UK sales
  • Effective business planning, generating a yearly document for key strategic accounts
  • Liaising with key departments to ensure on time deliveries for all retailers
  • Analysing retailer sales data to ensure regular stock for key lines and also actioning any slow performing lines in the business
  • Gaining retailer appointments for key selling periods
