John Adams will introduce a new addition to its growing games portfolio this Autumn.Rummikub300

Rummikub, which has sold over an estimated 50m units in the last 50 years, joins the company’s games and puzzles collection, with a range of products set to roll out under the nostalgic brand.

The first ever sets of Rummikub were handmade by its inventor, Ephraim Hertzano, and his family. Since then, the game has grown in popularity and has seen huge success, winning ‘game of the year’ many times and is currently sold in over 54 countries.

The new range will launch with hero product Rummikub Classic in August, with the rest of the range following later in the year. The aim of the game is to go “Rummikub” and be the first player to place all tiles from their rack onto the table. The game is for 2-4 players and includes 106 tiles (including two Joker tiles) and four tile racks.

Simon Pilkington, managing director of John Adams Leisure, said: “We’re delighted to be adding Rummikub to our games portfolio. It sits perfectly within our collection of classic, family games and reflects our brand ethos of bringing friends and family together through fun gameplay.”
