John Adams provides board games for Forest Holidays

Initiative sees exclusive games crates for guests at Forest Holidays locations across the country.

John Adams has revealed a partnership with Forest Holidays, bringing board games to holidaymakers staycationing in Forest Holidays’ woodland settings. Each crate contains a selection of ten family games to suit every taste, ranging from Linkee, Triominos, Rummikub Word, Othello and Telestrations to Don’t Be A Donkey – and even a couple of classic Rubik’s Cubes.

The long-term collaboration, which kicked off in spring of this year, also sees family favourite Rummikub taking pride of place in more than 300 Golden Oak cabins, in ten different forest locations across the UK. Forest Holidays is also working with John Adams on an exclusive Rubik’s Trail which will be installed at a number of locations next spring.

Lynette Norris, marketing manager at John Adams, commented: “We chose to collaborate with Forest Holidays as we felt their UK staycations provided the perfect balance of discovery, exploration and relaxation in cosy cabins that are ideally suited to fun, tabletop gameplay. Guests can request a crate for their cabin and enjoy an evening of fun together with all tastes catered for. Golden Oak cabin guests have their very own copy of Rummikub to enjoy, and the feedback so far has been really positive from families who’ve been enjoying the offering since we launched the initiative in spring.”

Charlotte Thorogood at Forest Holidays said: “Here at Forest Holidays we are always looking for ways to help our guests to connect with each other. The range of games from John Adams is a great catalyst for these connections to take place for all generations of friends, families and couples. We believe that creating these connections in a natural environment not only helps our guests to relax, but to leave with a real sense of renewal, that extends back into their lives back home.”
