Jumbo-480The range will commemorate the 50th anniversary of Star Trek, and will include a 1,000 and 500-piece puzzle.

Stewart Middleton, managing director at Jumbo Games, commented: “We are very excited to work with CBS and CPLG on this fantastic franchise, especially as Star Trek is celebrating 50 years. The puzzles will make brilliant collectible pieces that we envisage being very popular with many new and longstanding trekkies.”

In celebration of the longevity of the programme’s popularity, the 1,000-piece puzzle will feature an image that depicts the key characters, ships and universes across the decades, in a highly detailed puzzle image. In comparison, the 500-piece puzzle will focus on fans’ favourite series, Star Trek Next Generation, with the iconic Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

“With the Destination Star Trek fan expo coming to the NEC in Birmingham from 7th to 9th October and attended by thousands of dedicated fans throughout Europe, we expect the demand for these new lines to be very high,” added Stewart.
