Jumbo Games appoints Mi PR Global for 2016

Jumbo Games has announced the appointment of Mi PR Global as its retained agency to handle its communications across consumer, corporate, trade and events. 

Mipr-480Focusing on the leading adult and children’s puzzle and game ranges, Mi PR Global will support Jumbo with planning and execution of key product launches, events and PR activities.

In 2016 Jumbo plans to strengthen its adult puzzle and accessory portfolio, focusing on Wasgij, Falcon de luxe and Puzzle Mates. The company will also continue to develop its own children’s puzzle brand, Dino.

Stewart Middleton, managing director at Jumbo Games, commented: “We were immediately sold by Mi PR Global’s passion for the industry they work in. The team demonstrated an excellent understanding of our business and where we are heading in the future. We are thrilled to have Mi PR Global back on board as they will be a great extension to our team and we are looking forward to the year ahead.”

Throughout 2016 Jumbo will be launching a number of new puzzles and games from its adult range, Wasgij. The company will also unveil several new Disney ranges featuring Disney’s the Jungle Book, The Lion Guard and Finding Dory at London’s Toy Fair.

“We’re delighted to be working with such an established business. Jumbo’s Falcon de Luxe range is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2016, which we plan to maximise with retailers and consumers throughout the year,” added Kirsty Barr, director at Mi PR Global.
