The puzzle is three centuries old, designed in 1760 by British engraver and map maker John Spilsbury as a teaching aid for students learning geography.

Jumbo Games have been at the heart of puzzle evolution and innovation since its launch in 1853 and is the number one manufacturer, pioneering new concepts and ways to puzzle.

To encourage puzzling during February, retailers will be running offers on their Wasgij and Falcon ranges for one month starting on National Puzzle Day, January 29th. The promotion continues to the end of February. Retailers include Amazon, WHSmith, The Entertainer, Hobbycraft, Notcutts, Argos and Tesco.
