Inspired by the books of Nick Butterworth, Q Pootle 5 follows the adventures of an alien and his friends. Taking the leap from the page to screen, Q Pootle 5 first launched on CBeebies at the end of July 2013 and has quickly become one of the channel’s most popular shows. Q Pootle 5 is produced by Snapper Productions and licensed by Rocket Licensing.

The Jumbo Games range will be the focus of a three-phase release across 2014 and 2015. The initial range, launching Autumn/Winter 2014, will consist of 4-in-1 Shaped Puzzles, Giant Playing Cards and 35-piece puzzle assortments. A giant Floor Puzzle, Memo Game, Floor Game and Puzzle & Colour will form the second and third phases of the range, with all products suitable for ages three years and up.

Katherine Pierce, marketing manager at Jumbo Games, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to add Q Pootle 5 to our portfolio of popular children’s licensees. We’re huge fans of the popular children’s show and hope our colourful range of puzzles and games will be a hit with Q Pootle 5 lovers.”

Ben Butterworth of Snapper Productions, added: “Since its launch on CBeebies earlier this year, Q Pootle 5 has been a hit with pre-schoolers and their families. We are very pleased to be partnering with Jumbo Games to extend the brand off-screen and offer audiences more ways to engage with the show’s much-loved characters.”
