NPD full year 2017 results show that the company was the UK’s No. 1 Adult Puzzle & Accessories manufacturer.
The company has also shown growth +13%. Jumbo’s own brands, Wasgij, Falcon de Luxe and Portapuzzle all showed double-digit growth throughout 2017 and were the top three brands in the category. Wasgij saw an increase of 22% in its 20th anniversary year, with the release of ten new puzzles, including a collectible Special Edition puzzle. Wasgij also held the top two spots for 2D Adult Puzzles with the Christmas 13 Turkey’s Delight! and Original 27 the 20th Party Parade!.
Jumbo’s premium, traditional puzzle brand, Falcon de Luxe, experienced continued growth with a 28% increase throughout 2017. The manufacturer attributes the growth and success to the 40+ new puzzles which were released in 2017 along with continued investment in high quality of puzzle images.
In addition to the puzzle success, Jumbo’s Portapuzzle brand continues to be the nation’s favourite choice in puzzle storage boards. Including the Portapuzzle Deluxe, Portapuzzle Standard 1000-piece and Portapuzzle Board items, the brand saw growth of +16% throughout 2017.

Jumbo has made a strong start to 2018, with the entire adult puzzle market growing by 17.3% YTD February. Jumbo is continuing to see double digit growth with an increase of 11% and successes across its popular brands, Wasgij (+19%), Falcon de Luxe (+24%) and Portapuzzle (+8%).
