Latest NPD results show that the company remains the UK’s Number 1 adult puzzle and accessories manufacturer.
Jumbo’s adult puzzle range continued to grow throughout 2016, with its own-brands Wasgij, Falcon de Luxe, Puzzle Mates and Jan Van Haasteren brands leading the way and all seeing an increase in sales.
Jumbo’s leading adult puzzle brand, Wasgij, also shared the manufacturer’s milestone of 10 consecutive years as the UK’s number 1 selling adult puzzle brand, showing continued growth in 2016 ahead of its 20th anniversary year. Wasgij have seven new 1,000-piece puzzle releases planned for the next two months, adding to the three new puzzles launched in January.
Falcon de Luxe saw growth of +26% according to NPD throughout 2016. 40 brand new puzzle releases in 2016, a refresh of packaging to enhance in-store presence and to make the puzzle images stand-out more clearly, and the continued investment in the highest quality of puzzle images have all played a part in the brands success.
Jumbo’s Puzzle Mates range also continues to be the UK’s number 1 puzzle accessories brand in the UK, with the Portapuzzle still claiming the top-spot for consumers with the Portapuzzle Deluxe, Standard and last year’s new addition, the Portapuzzle Board. The Puzzle & Roll brand also held onto its number 2 spot in NPD.
