KAP Toys unveils TV campaign for Magical Capsules

Published on: 15th July 2020

From Saturday 18th July, YuMe Toys’ Harry Potter Magical Capsules will be TV advertised to children across the United Kingdom.

Magical Capsules TV adMagical Capsules, a Harry Potter blind-reveal collectible line, launched at the end of May, and KAP Toys has been increasing retail distribution exponentially week on week. The Magical Capsules offer a brand-new way to unbox and collect the enchanting creatures and wizards of the Wizarding World for Harry Potter fans of all ages.

The experience begins by attempting to decipher the clues hidden inside the top of each Hogwarts crest-shaped container, which hint at the character contained within. Collectors can then open each of the easily-recyclable paper blind-bags to reveal surprises including a magical pet and accessories such as a wand, schoolbooks or a cauldron, before finally unveiling the witch or wizard they’ll be adding to their collection. The launch wave offers 10 characters to collect, including one Rare character.

Nathaniel Southworth, managing director, said: “We have laid a strong foundation with PR, sampling, competitions and bloggers. We have also observed how responsive the Harry Potter Magical Capsules are to Facebook advertising over the last four weeks. To accelerate consumer awareness and drive sales in our retail partners, it is time to turn on the TV.”

The campaign has been organised by Tristan Brooks of Azure Media and will see the ad go out across Pop, Pop Max, Nickelodeon, Disney XD, Disney Channel, ITVB, CITVB, CITV, ITVBe and Cartoon Network.

Series 1 of the collectible is available in CDUs of 12 and FSDUs of 60. The SRP is £9.99 and stock is available for immediate shipment. All order enquiries should be emailed through to orders@kaptoys.com or you can call Neil Leah, head of sales, on 07887 998528.
