Kids@Play scoops Distributor of the Year award

Published on: 15th January 2019

Kids@Play was honoured by Maxx Marketing at its partnerships event, held in the Ikon hotel in Hong Kong.

Kids@Play was appointed as the UK & Ireland distributor of the growing Maxx Marketing range in May 2018. The roll-out began with JK Rowling’s Wizarding World, and in 2019 it will be expanded to include DC Comics, Looney Tunes, Scooby Doo and a range of characters from the WB horror collection.

Michael Kwan, CEO of Maxx Marketing, commented: “Maxx Marketing is pleased to partner with such a passionate and energetic company. In a very short time, Nat and his team managed to place Maxx’s WB plush in many retail outlets. We are fortunate to have such a great team executing our plan. We look forward to Nat and the team expanding and creating more award winning programmes in all channels across the UK and Ireland markets.”

Nathaniel Southworth, managing director of Kids@Play, added: “It remains an absolute privilege to work with Maxx Marketing and to represent such great IP from Warner Brothers. As a business we have come an incredibly long way in such a short space of time, and we are exceptionally grateful to the team at Maxx Marketing for their support and the opportunity to show what we can do. This award is a reflection of the team effort and can-do attitude at Kids@Play. It’s the icing on the cake of a great Hong Kong toy fair and we are really looking forward to seeing new and existing customers at the remaining trade shows. Next stop London!”

Kids@Play will be showing at London Toy Fair (Gallery 180) and Spring Fair (Hall 5, Stand L55). For all appointments and enquires please contact the team on or call 01291 429007.
