Kidtropolis announces new line-up for 2017

Consumer event will take place 23rd – 26th October at the ExCeL London.

Taking place during October half term, children and families can immerse themselves in a world of toys, games, family brands and more at Kidtropolis, the consumer event that celebrates childhood brands.

Street dance troop Flawless will be performing their renowned routines as seen on TV, and will be joined by a next generation of students from their very own school of dance, The Flawless Dance School.

Postman Pat and Jess the Cat are bringing their Special Baking Service mini show to Kidtropolis, plus Fireman Sam will be celebrating his 30th anniversary. Sooty, Sweep and Soo will be visiting straight from CITV, accompanied by TV’s Richard Cadell. Bungle, Zippy and George from the children’s TV show Rainbow will be celebrating Rainbow’s 45th anniversary at the show too.

Comedian, entertainer and writer Julian Clary will be joining award-winning illustrator David Roberts at the show to introduce children and families to The Bolds, a new series of adventures about a family of hyenas living in an ordinary suburban street.

The kids from Kidz Bop, the music brand for kids that records kid-friendly versions of today’s biggest pop music hits, will be bringing their live show to Kidtropolis.

This year, Kidtropolis is also giving families the opportunity to choose two live shows they’d like to see during their visit, subject to availability. With 15 shows to choose from, including The Basil Brush Show, Captain Calamity, Marvin’s Magic, Flawless, Octonauts, and Kidz Bop, there’s something for all ages.

Gemma Gallagher, director of brand relations at Kidtropolis, commented: “We are thrilled to be bringing such an amazing proposition to consumers and brands at Kidtropolis 2017. We’ve packed the event with live shows, much loved brands and unique activities. Consumers won’t find this much variety of fun all under one roof, anywhere else in the UK. Kidtropolis is going to be very special this year.
