KlikBot, a new collectible range from the makers of StikBot, brings new play patterns to stop-motion animation creativity.

KlikBotsBrainstorm has launched KlikBots to retail this month. The new collectible range, from the makers of StikBot, has landed in the UK with early predictions showing the new characters are already popular with fans of the stop-motion range.

The launch range of the new incarnation features KlikBot figures in an 8-piece CDU, featuring one of each style of the Heroes and Villains that comprise the KlikBot character assortment. Unlike StikBot, KlikBot figures have interchangeable accessories and limbs that can be clicked in place so that kids can create their own unique KlikBot character. The precise, clicking mechanism also allows children to create more intricate and precise stop-frame animation.

Also available are the KlikBot Studio Packs, an assorted 6-pack featuring three characters – Thud, Klonk and Slink. Like StikBots, the studio packs feature a tripod so kids can film stop-frame animations using the StikBot app’s green screen tech.

The KlikBot range will be launched with TV advertising in September and will sponsor CitvB throughout November and December.

Debra Tiffany, marketing manager at Brainstorm, said: “We have been really looking forward to KlikBot landing following the brilliant response to the range at London Toy Fair. StikBot continues to be one of our most popular lines, and the addition of KlikBots will offer retailers more opportunities to expand their existing ranges. As well as the social sharing aspect of the toy, the collectability of this fidget toy makes it a great impulse purchase.”
