40% growth in March YTD has reinforced LeapFrog’s position in the top ten toy manufacturers (UK NPD, March 2013).

LeapFrog’s performance continues to outpace the general trend in the toy sector. Strong sales of LeapPad2 have helped establish the children’s tablet as the number four best-selling product on the market with 86% growth in March YTD.

LeapFrog software sales have also helped to bolster the brand’s performance in March, with LeapFrog Explorer software at number seven in the market, resulting in LeapFrog having 56% market share of the Pre-school Electronic Learning category.

Chris Spalding, managing director and senior vice president for EMEA and Australasia at LeapFrog, said: “It’s been a fantastic start to 2013 for LeapFrog with our results continuing to outperform the market. We are confident that our focus on market-leading innovation and our dedication to combining education and entertainment for children will see us continue our progression as a top ten toy manufacturer throughout the year.”
