Following the success of Creative Cakes, Lego Duplo is launching Creative Ice Cream, Creative Picnic and Creative Animals. Offering entry-level and gift giving price points, each sku has unisex appeal and identifiable themes, whilst multi-functionality makes them a valuable learning toy.

The Creative Picnic set features bread, meat, ketchup, lettuce and various other bricks, while Creative Ice Cream features a collection of colourful Duplo brick scoops of ice cream, toppings and cones. Creative Animals includes inspiration cards to help children assemble a giraffe, bunny, dog and worm, and the box lids double as a serving tray.

January sees the launch of three new brick boxes: the All-in-One Gift Set, All-in-One Box of Fun and All-in-One Pink Box of Fun. Each set features a diverse assortment of bricks providing a good introduction to construction whilst allowing pre-schoolers to mix and match with their existing range. Elements include a wagon base with rounded edges and wheels, opening windows, animals including a dog, bunny and hen, Duplo figures, and numbered bricks with corresponding decorated bricks to help children learn to count. The Lego brick-shaped boxes are available in green or pink and are stackable.

My First Police Set, My First Shop and Farm Tractor feature detailed functionality for added play value, with decorated bricks and attractive price points to help drive spontaneous purchase.

Joining Lego Duplo’s Disney Princess line is Sleeping Beauty’s Fairy Tale. Gift giver driven, the large versatile model includes a castle tower surrounded by rose bushes and Merryweather’s forest cottage, home to the Fairy Godmother. The set features Merryweather’s magic wand and Sleeping Beauty in her gown.
