Snell joins Lego from Bacardi where she most recently held the role of global brand director. Prior to this she held various positions at Procter & Gamble, joining as a graduate and working her way up the marketing organisation. Key achievements in her career to date include playing an instrumental part in the creation of Procter & Gamble UK’s brand-building team in 2009 – a group responsible for designing and delivering the integrated marketing campaigns across all brands. In addition to this, she also globally launched the spiced rum Bacardi ‘OakHeart’, which was Bacardi’s biggest growth driver of 2011.
In her new role, Snell will be responsible for overseeing the total marketing function in the UK and Ireland. Key roles will be to strategically drive the company’s position in the marketplace, build customer and potential customer relationships, and direct brand communications.
Ott has been with the Lego Group for 18 years, joining the company’s Australian and New Zealand businesses before moving to the UK in 2011 as national account director. Maximising sales results, leading project teams and being an instrumental part of a sales team that has delivered over a 20% business unit growth year on year are some of his foremost achievements.
As head of sales for the UK and Ireland, Ott will be looking to build closer collaborative relationships with customers and strengthening the team to maintain strong growth results in an increasingly competitive market.
