Lego UK launches Turtles line

Lego has launched its new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line, bringing the licence to the Construction Toy category.

The collection of five Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets has been by inspired Nickelodeon’s recently launched CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series.

Lego Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brings the adventures of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo to life in Lego form with a series of vehicles, scenes and minifigures. The playtheme sets offer a selection of price points and each includes a collectable Lego Turtle minifigure. In addition, various sets will also have an alternative build option which will be available to download online later this year.

The range consists of The Shellraiser Street Chase, Turtle Lair Attack, Stealth Shell in Pursuit, Shredder’s Dragon Bike and Kraang Lab Escape.

The launch of the range is being marketed with extensive on-air, online and PR support. In addition to advertising, events at various retailers to support the Turtles will be taking place across the country.
