Surge Licensing has contracted Jazwares to create a multi-year global master toy programme for Feisty Pets. Feisty Pets interactive plush go from friendly to ferociously funny with just a gentle squeeze.
Feisty Pets initially launched in 2016 and became a social media hit among tweens, teens and millennials. Mark Forti, president and CEO of WMC and the creative force behind Feisty Pets, envisioned Feisty Pets in the real world and developed Feisty Films, shorts on YouTube that showcase the adventures of the Feisty Pets Gang. Soon after the shorts released in May 2017, Feisty Films went viral.
Laura Zebersky, chief commercial officer, Jazwares, commented: “Feisty Pets is one of the hottest crazes happening in toys right now. We are so excited to be part of this phenomenon and can’t wait to create 360° experiences worldwide.”
Meanwhile, Re:creation is pleased to confirm that it remains the authorised distributor of the Feisty Pets plush range within the UK and Ireland. Re:creation has been supplying Feisty Pets plush products to UK and Irish retailers since May 2017, and is looking forward to further increasing sales of this range in the future. The company is also pleased to be working with retailers to build broader cross category Feisty Pets displays, including the new licensed products.
