Taking on the new role of senior director of Mattel Consumer Products, Europe will be Maria Maranesi. She will be supported by regional category teams and the newly strengthened country teams.
Changes in the UK include the promotion of Marianna Helmer-Gregersen to senior manager European Hard Lines and Helena Mansell-Stopher, who will now lead the UK and Nordic consumer products business.
Maria Maranesi explained: “Through this organisational change we are achieving synergies across Europe by establishing strategic regional teams whilst maintaining market based teams that focus on excellence in delivery in the market place. Furthermore, we are strengthening our capabilities in fields that will help us grow our business sustainably in the years to come; whether developing our category expertise in hardlines, softlines and publishing or through digital excellence, first-class insights and state-of-the-art execution at the point of sale.”
Consumer Products will continue to be a key pillar for Mattel and the new structure will bring further alignment and strategy, and also scale to markets across Europe and stronger licensing and retailer partnerships opportunities.
The UK team, headed by Helena Mansell-Stopher in her new role as UK & Nordic Consumer Products Territory Lead, Mattel, will be as follows:
