It won the award following the launch of the UEFA Euro 2016 Sticker Album Collection.
Each year, the prestigious ACE hosted dinner and awards ceremony celebrates the best brands, teams, and the companies working within the newspaper and magazines industry. This year Panini UK was honoured to receive the winning award for Launch of the Year.
Panini UK delivered record breaking sales through the execution of a comprehensive, creative and well planned launch strategy. The scale and reach of activity was designed to engage the whole family, from the moment they walked into stores. Colourful sign-posting, impactful in and out of category promotions, FSDU’s, and a significant album sampling campaign all helped create mass consumer awareness. A complementary above the line marketing campaign then brought the collection to life through TV, print, and social media. As well as the usual support from the nation’s children, thousands of mature collectors also engaged with Panini through Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, with the #gotgotneed hashtag.
