Published on: 14th June 2021

The educational channel features the nation’s best-loved nursery rhymes with Little Tikes producing an array of toys based on some of its characters.

Hit baby and toddler show Little Baby Bum, for which Little Tikes has created an exclusive range of toys, has now launched on BBC iPlayer giving the brand a wider audience.

The educational channel, which presents the nation’s best-loved nursery rhymes in animated short videos, previously streamed on YouTube. The Little Tikes Little Baby Bum range is based on some of its characters and includes toys such as the Wheels on the Bus Scoot to aid first steps, Bounce & Sing Buster and Twinkle the Star Plush.

Little Tikes and Little Baby Bum have been working together for the last 18 months, adding toys to the ever-increasing line which support toddlers’ emotional, physical and cognitive development through their favourite show. From the newborn stage through to toddler and pre-school years, little ones are always learning and Little Tikes has created iconic toys that stimulate and teach pre-school children, helping them to interact with the world around them as they reach developmental milestones. The Little Baby Bum range offers a selection of products perfect for encouraging and inspiring in those all-important first years.

The franchise coming to BBC iPlayer means that the brand will be able to captivate a new audience. All available episodes can now be viewed on BBC iPlayer, and with viewership increasing throughout lockdown, the brand is now taking steps to expand further.

Michelle Lilley, head of marketing at Little Tikes UK, said: “We are delighted to see the franchise launching on the BBC iPlayer which is renowned for its range of pre-school shows that captivate toddlers all across the country. We look forward to our continued work with the franchise following a successful 18 months.”
