Little Tikes worked closely with hospitals for children with life-threatening illnesses to brighten up their play areas with new fun and exciting toys.

The hospitals, which rely heavily on donations and fundraising, include the John Radcliffe Hospital, Kettering General Hospital, Milton Keynes Hospital, Leeds Royal Infirmary, Stoke Mandeville and the Oxford Children’s Hospital.

In many cases, Little Tikes has helped to create new play areas within hospitals wards and grounds, which have had a huge impact on the children who need to stay by giving them something new to smile about.

Michelle Lilley, marketing manager at Little Tikes, commented: “It’s vitally important to us here at Little Tikes that we share the fun with everyone. We take great pleasure in gifting toys to those children who otherwise wouldn’t have any, or are unwell, and are delighted to have been able to extend this further than ever before in 2015.”
