Little Tikes to rebrand to Big Tikes in honour of 50th birthday

Published on: 1st April 2019

To celebrate its landmark year in the toy industry, Little Tikes has today revealed a brand-new name.

The popular kids’ brand will now be known as Big Tikes. As it celebrates its milestone birthday, the brand believes its experience – coupled with sheer quantity of product ranges – more than justifies its transformation from Little Tikes to Big Tikes.

The strategic rebranding also follows the announcement of the brand’s 50th birthday year objective; encouraging people to Play Big.

A new logo and a series of fresh marketing assets have been created to roll out across all brand channels and social media on April 1st.

Michelle Lilley, head of marketing, UK, commented: “We’ve been Little Tikes for five decades and as we celebrate our 50th year we thought it was the perfect time for a ‘big’ change. The brand has grown immensely over the years and we feel the brand name needs to reflect just that.”
