Little Tikes welcomes trio of strategic hires

Little Tikes is to receive an increased focus from MGA Entertainment following a strong year for the brand, with an expansion to its sales and marketing team.littletikeshires300

Focused on increasing the year’s momentum and success to date, the company has bolstered its Little Tikes team at both a European and global level, with a new international marketing and licensing director, UK marketing manager and general sales manager.

Rachael Springett, formerly European marketing manager, has been promoted to the newly created post of international marketing and licensing director for Little Tikes. This move recognises the brand’s considerable achievements over the past 12 months; it is now the third biggest toy property in the UK (NPD YTD June 2013) and also demonstrates MGA’s commitment to its international expansion plans for Little Tikes. Rachael has a wealth of experience in growing consumer brands having spent 10 years in the FMCG industry prior to joining MGA in September 2012.

Taking over from Rachael Springett is Michelle Lilley, who joins as UK marketing manager. Michelle has a strong background in the retail and home goods industry having spent three years working on the Pyrex brand where she was responsible for all aspects of trade, consumer brand and communication development for UK and Eire. More recently, she spent two years at BSH Home Appliances, focusing on trade marketing for Bosch, Siemens and Neff prior to advancing to overall brand management for Siemens home appliances.

John Briggs strengthens the MGA UK sales team as general sales manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience in national account sales. Joining from Hornby, and formerly with LeapFrog and Vivid Imaginations, he has over 10 years of experience across brand and licences.
