Published on: 20th November 2012

Oxford Street and Regent Street will be made traffic-free this weekend to help boost Christmas trading.

The move will coincide with November pay day to increase sales.

On Saturday there will be celebrities on tills in various shops, giant Christmas parcels, street performers, and gift advisers on the streets.

The weekend will begin with an appearance by McFly at Oxford Circus on Saturday morning.
