Arklu has announced that two of its Lottie dolls, Robot Girl Lottie and Kawaii Karate Lottie, have received the Platinum Award from the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio.LT031-Robot-Girl-Lottie-Dol

Since the launch in August 2012, Lottie dolls have received 19 international awards including five Oppenheim Portfolio Platinum Awards.

The Oppenheim Toy Portfolio was founded in 1989 by child development experts Joanne Oppenheim and her daughter Stephanie Oppenheim, contributors to NBC’s Today Show.

Lucie Follett, creative director of Arklu, said: “It’s really exciting to see how Lottie’s ‘pro girl’ feel has found resonance with parents and kids alike. Since launching Lottie just over a year ago, we are now on sale in 14 countries, and will be extending the Lottie brand further with the release of a series of chapter books in late 2014.”
