Magic Box chooses Goliath to distribute and license SuperZings

Goliath has been appointed American, Australian, French and Benelux partner for Magic Box’s hit collectible. 

Superzings has been a success in Europe, is the top-selling boys collectible in Spain and the fastest growing new boys collectible in the UK.

“We are launching SuperZings ourselves in Poland, Italy, Portugal and Germany, in addition to the UK and Spain, and are excited to partner with Goliath in the United States, Australia, France and Benelux” said David Bella, founder of Magic Box. “Goliath is a perfect partner because it is the most aggressive marketing company I’ve come across in the the industry. As such, it is perfectly positioned to execute the marketing programmes that have been so successful in Europe.”

David Norman, president of Goliath’s North American office, added: “We plan to give away over 1m SuperZings in 2020 in addition to our other marketing efforts, which include TV advertising, influencer partnerships, and 100 videos and webisodes with 40 more in production. A kids meal promotion with one of the top global franchises will also be announced shortly.”

The SuperZings YouTube channel already has 39,000 subscribers and over 30m views.  The brand’s international licensing programme has already begun, with European core partners in apparel, and back to school already selected. SuperZings is being debuted in booth number K229 at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas until 6th June. Toys will launch in the United States fourth quarter 2019, with licensed products coming on board in autumn 2020.
