Bungees are described as “brightly coloured, hugely collectable, magnetic figurines” featuring ‘Flick to Stick’ gameplay to add an addictive and innovative gaming element and make Bungees a genuine contender for the next big playground craze.
With an RRP of £1.50 for each packet, and bright, impactful packaging, Bungees is designed as a great value for money product for the post Christmas market.
Bungees feel soft and tactile in the hand and when flicked onto the Bungee Board or Bungee Cards they roll and stick via their magnetic bases – this is the ‘Flick to Stick’ concept that makes Bungees really stand out from crowd.
Each Bungee character has ratings for Precision, Bounce and Stickiness and kids will choose their characters wisely when deciding which one of the many Bungees games to play. There are 96 Bungees to collect with different characters split into Bungee ‘Clans’. The characters with the best gaming abilities are known as ‘Clan Leaders’ and will become the must-have elements of the collection. There are also 48 Bungee cards to collect, each one showing a different character and its playing abilities.
Magic Box says kids and adults alike have responded well in product tests, with the ‘Flick to Stick’ gameplay proving an addictive and exciting factor. The product is aimed at both boys and girls aged 5-11 and the UK will be the first market to launch ahead of European and then Worldwide rollout.
Trade reaction to the product has been exceptional and the launch distribution is expected to see Bungees on the counter of more than 20,000 outlets nationwide.
